Retro fancy dress ideas?

My girlfriend and I are going to a fancy dress party next weekend, the theme is "retro" which I think mainly means 60s/70s/80s/90s film & TV-type retro.
I’m not a dressing up kind of guy so I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how to get a retro fancy dress costume that’s cheap, funny, and easy to wear.
Importantly, I have to find it/buy it in 1 week.
Also, if you can think of ideas for my girlfriend & I as a duo, even better… (not Batman and Robin)

Bonnie & Clyde – get some suits from charity shop and you could probably get hats from a fancy dress place. Best not accessorise with toy guns though – you know how twitchy the police are these days!! Or just go to a hiring place – it’s usually pretty cheap and at this time of year you will have loads of choice.
you should get a tuxedo tee shirt like from the seventies. Then wear a blazer open over it, so you don’t look too casual
Mork and Mindy? All you need is tight jeans and pyjama type top with orange or yellow strips. Oh and big hair wigs!!
sunny and cher google some of there images and mimic the styles you see in some of their old photos together, visit a few thrift stores and even ask parents or grandparents if they have any dated clothing stuck away somewhere that you may fit or be able to alter!! You wouldn’t believe the hippie era stuff i found my grandparents had saved of my mom and dad. it was the cheapest and stylinest halloween ever, haha. have fun!
