Phoebe Hoban, author of Basquiat: A Quick Killing in Art, will read from and discuss her new biography of painter Alice Neel. Alice Neel: The Art of Not Sitting Pretty was named one of the ten best books of 2010 by the Village Voice, included in O Magazine’s 15 books to watch for in 2011, and picked as an Editors’ Choice in the New York Times Sunday Book Review in January 2011.
